ABOUT THE EVENT

“World Peace & Prayer Day is an annual event envisioned by Chief Arvol Looking Horse. The birth of the White Buffalo is both a blessing and a warning for the people. This year’s broadcast is from Pipestone Minnesota, the center of Turtle Island, in which lies a vein underground through catlinite of the stone which is carved into our sacred ceremonial pipes. It is especially auspicious because a White Buffalo was recently born in Yellowstone National Park.
